our approach

Our Bolt Jr. Cinebot (affectionally named Winston) and all of his movers and accessories allow us to tackle a wide range of Motion Control work. Our setup includes a custom riser to give us more height, two meters of track to move on, a turn table, conveyor belt, and a dropper. Using the latest Flair software allows us to connect Winston with our movers and track to create seamless and intricate camera movements that are perfectly consistent and repeatable. Pair this with a high-speed camera, and we can create shots that would be impossible by hand. In the studio, we have a RED V-Raptor 8K capable of speeds up to 420fps, but Winston will work with any hi-speed camera. The robot also pulls focus, allowing for hyper-fast and perfectly-timed focus movements that even the sharpest 1st ACs would struggle to replicate.

We use Winston in the studio and on location (including indoor and outdoor projects) and are fully equipped to bring him on any type of production. Because Winston is “Junior” sized, we’re able to bring him through a 36” door. Our high-voltage generator allows us to utilize him on location shoots just about anywhere.
